Dorothy M. Schaub

Dorothy M. Schaub, 100, of Fombell, passed away on Tuesday at the Grove At Harmony in Jackson Township.

Born July 4, 1916, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Alford A. Boswell and Clara Matilda Herrmann Boswell.

Dorothy was the eldest member of St. John's Burry's Church and a member of the Faith Circle. She had more than 20 years of service at the Elsie Miller Convalescent Home in Wexford.

She is survived by her sons, Paul M. (Maudress) Schaub of Prospect, and Glenn A. (Jane) Schaub of New Brighton; five grandchildren, Ronald, Randy, Richard, Jessica and Stephanie; eight great-grandchildren, Amanda, Randi, Cory, Ashley, Baylee, Matthew, Joe and Dean; and one great-great-grandson, Kamden.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel A. Schaub, who she married Aug. 7, 1941, and who died Aug. 9, 1984; one sister, Jean Sprinker; and one great-grandchild.

SCHAUB — Friends of Dorothy M. Schaub, who died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Burry's Church, 1835 Route 68, Rochester, Pa., with the Rev. Win Groseclose officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.If desired, memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy's honor to St. John's Burry's Church.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with Dorothy's family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
