Margaret A. Davis, 79, of Butler died unexpectedly Saturday at the Hendry Regional Medical Center in Clewiston, Fla., while at her winter home in Moore Haven, Fla.

Margaret was born in Butler on Nov. 13, 1933, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Alice Van Buren Bowser.

She was a retired certified nursing assistant and had worked at several Butler area care facilities.

Margaret’s first husband, Payne L. Isanogle, preceded her in death. She is survived by her second husband, Raymond E. Davis. They were married Sept. 29, 2001.

Margaret also is survived by three sons, Payne N. (Juliette) Isanogle in Alaska, Brent L. (Debbie) Isanogle of Butler, and Bradley C. Isanogle of Cabot, and two stepchildren, Paul Davis of Connoquenessing and Cathy (Wallace) Pakutz of Connoquenessing.

Four siblings survive her, Calvin ‘Champ’ (Betty) Bowser, Ronald (Elaine) Bowser and Georgia Kay Colisimo, all of Butler, and Mildred Pappas of Clarion.

She also is survived by six grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

DAVIS— Friends of Margaret A. Davis, who died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. A funeral service is not planned.

A private burial will be at Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.
