Dorothy M. Christie, 87, of Butler passed away on Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born Aug. 25, 1924, in Butler, to the late George Zeigler and Lottie Lutz Ziegler.

Mrs. Christie was a homemaker. She was a former member of the Grace Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Christie was married to Paul Christie on Aug. 21, 1947, who preceded her in death on Sept. 30, 1991.

She is survived by four sons, Lee Christie and his wife, Debbie, Danny Christie and his wife, Vickie, Terry Christie and Lenny Christie and his wife, Randy, all of Butler; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters and one grandson.
