Arthur Duane Bish, 72, of East Franklin Township, Armstrong County, died Saturday at the Kittanning Care Center.

He was born Sept. 8, 1938, in Madison Township, Armstrong County, a son of the late Robert L. and Nellie (George) Bish.

He was a 1957 graduate of Worthington High School, and he retired from the Castle Rubber Co. in East Butler as a grinder after 44 years.

He enjoyed flea markets, spending time with his family and trips to the Amish country.

He was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Worthington.

Survivors include four children, Randy L. Bish, of Greensburg and his fiancee, Julie Molnar of Latrobe, Sandy VanDyke, of Aspinwall, Juanita (Rick) John of Worthington, and Brian Bish of Norwalk, Conn.; and nine grandchildren, Randy, Nathan, Caitlin, Jacob and Kelly Bish, Sheena and Taylor VanDyke and Elizabeth and Robert John. Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Shirley Bish of East Brady; an aunt, Violet Klingensmith of New Bethlehem; an uncle, Omer George of Eden, N.Y.; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis J. (Crissman) Bish, who died April 2, 2010; his brother, R. Elzie Bish; two sisters-in-law; and a brother-in-law.

<B>BISH </B>— Friends of Arthur Duane Bish, who died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME </B>in Worthington. Additional viewing will be one hour before services at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor Lawrence Camberg officiating.
