Butler Twp PoliceMonday — Bradley S. Cramer, 26, of Butler was charged with felony retail theft stemming from an incident Sept. 2 at the Butler Commons Walmart. Police said he stole $32 in merchandise. A two-time convicted shoplifter, Cramer is also charged with defiant trespass since he was barred from the store for a previous retail theft there, according to a police report.Monday — Police charged Amanda J. McCune, 22, of Butler with misdemeanor retail theft in connection with a suspected shoplifting incident last month at the Walmart at Butler Commons. McCune is accused of failing to pay for $133 in merchandise at the self-out register Aug. 6.Sunday — An unknown pickup driver struck a parked car while backing out of the Days Inn front parking lot on Route 8 south. The driver did not stop. The pickup is described as a 2012 or newer model Dodge Ram 1500. The hit-and-run accident happened between late Saturday night and early Sunday morning. Anyone with information should call 724-285-9600.Friday — Jesse E. Motosicky, 26, of Saxonburg was charged with drunken driving stemming from a traffic stop at 2:23 a.m. Sept. 4 on Hansen Avenue. Motosicky is also charged with driving with a suspended license, disregarding traffic lanes, careless driving and a lighting violation.

Butler Police11:53 p.m. Saturday — Daniel L. Wolfe, 31, no known address, was arrested after he allegedly threatened a woman with a knife on North Elm Street near the Grapevine Center.Police said they got a call for a man swinging a knife at people and found Wolfe in a Laundromat parking lot. He was “holding two knives in his hands,” according to court documents, and yelling at Katherine Scott and another woman.Officers arrested the defendant and spoke to Scott. She told police Wolfe had showed up “angry about an incident involving his dog,” documents said. With a knife in each hand, she recounted, he told Scott he was going to kill her.Wolfe was arraigned on charges of terroristic threats and simple assault, and placed in Butler County Prison on $25,000 bail.

State Police, ButlerThursday — Police obtained an arrest warrant for Steven W. Charlton Jr., 20, of East Butler on charges he stole a .30-30 Winchester rifle from a home on West Slippery Rock Road in Chicora. The gun, taken between May 10 and Aug. 25, was later sold. Charlton is charged with felony counts of theft and receiving stolen property.

State Police, Kittanning5 p.m. Monday — A 23-year-old woman, who police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs on Fox Hollow Road in West Franklin Township. The woman’s passenger, a 31-year-old Kittanning woman who police did not identify, was found with suspected heroin and drug contraband.Police said their investigation continues and charges were not immediately filed in the case.
