Butler Twp. Police9:30 a.m. Thursday — Police responded to an unresponsive man in a truck parked at Alameda Plaza, where they arrested Thomas R. Wolfe, 45, of Butler for possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, public intoxication or similar misconduct, and driving during suspension.Feb. 28 — Police are investigating a residential burglary that occurred Feb. 28 in the 100-block of West Christie Avenue.Someone forced open a window to enter the home and stole an undisclosed amount of cash and prescription pills. The break-in occurred sometime between noon and 5 p.m. Police are asking anyone who saw any suspicious activity or people in the area to call the department at 724-285-9600.
Cranberry Twp. PoliceWednesday — Police issued a warrant for Nadia Errafaq, 23, of Cranberry Township.Errafaq allegedly stole the credit card belonging to her grandmother, Donna Johnson, and used it to make $1,342 in purchases at Kohl’s in November, according to court records.She then allegedly returned the items for store gift cards and sold the gift cards at a pawnshop in Dormont.She is wanted for felony forgery, felony access device fraud, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.She is also facing charges for allegedly burglarizing Vocelli’s Pizza on Route 19, where she used to work, in April.Wednesday — Matthew Beall, 50, of Cranberry Township is accused of hitting his 13-year-old son in the head with his fist on Feb. 17.He allegedly threw several punches, though the boy was covering his head with a pillow to protect himself.He is charged with endangering the welfare of children and simple assault.
Adams Twp. PoliceTuesday — Owen Mulvaney, 60, of Mars was charged with DUI from a traffic stop Feb. 19. He also was charged with several summary offenses including harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
Zelienople PoliceWednesday — Louis Brown, 60, of Wexford was charged with misdemeanor operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock from a traffic stop Wednesday.
State Police, ButlerTuesday — Brittany Lynn, 26, of Portersville was charged with DUI from a traffic stop Jan. 25. She also is charged with numerous summary offenses including intoxicated pedestrian, careless driving and speeding.
State Police, MeadvilleTuesday — James Merola, 27, of Slippery Rock and Ronald Brain, 30, of Harrisville were charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a Jan. 26 traffic stop on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township.
State Police, Clarion2:15 p.m. Wednesday — A 33-year-old Rimersburg man was arrested at Kmart in Monroe Township, as part of an unrelated investigation, and was found in possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said charges are pending.
