Mars girls keep rolling

Ali Goetz scored 17 points as the Mars girls basketball team jumped out to a 22-2 lead over visiting Knoch after the first quarter and cruised to a 68-25 section win Monday night.

Jess Bunner added 12 points for the Planets (9-5, 6-0).

Savanna Steffen paced Knoch (2-10, 2-4) with seven points.
