Carter Jacob Schenck was born at 10:22 p.m. Oct. 8 and passed away at 12:02 a.m. Oct. 9 in the arms of his loving parents, Matthew Schenck and Amber Meier of Butler.

He was born at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC.

He is survived by his parents and his siblings, Riley Ann Schenck and Madalyn Jane Schenck of Butler. Also surviving are his grandparents, Wendy and Timothy Saeler of Butler, Daniel and Lisa Meier of Harrisville and Mark Schenck of Petrolia; uncles, Eric Metcalf of Oil City, Daniel L. Meier of Harrisville, Luke Schenck of Butler and John Shannon of Sarver; aunts, Maggie Monn and Megan Shannon, both of Slippery Rock; great-grandparents, Charles and Rebecca Moore of Grove City, Harry Meier of Harrisville, Paula Nofsker of Cabot and Virginia Bowman of Seville, Ohio; and several great-aunts and uncles and cousins.

Preceding him in death were his grandmothers, Crystal Kovein of Seville, Ohio, and Judy DeGroot of Orrville, Ohio; and an aunt, Tonya Schenck of Seville, Ohio.

SCHENCK — Carter Jacob Schenck passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012. The family will have a private memorial service.
