Dorothy L. Arner, 98, of Cabot, formerly of Natrona Heights, passed away on Feb. 23, 2022, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born June 13, 1923, she was the daughter of John W. Huston and Mildred V. Stepp Huston.

Dorothy was a member of First United Presbyterian Church in Tarentum, and the Order of the Eastern Star. She volunteered for many years for the American Cancer Society.

She enjoyed baking delicious cookies, pies, tarts and cakes, and also playing cards.

Surviving are her daughter, Dorris Jean (Omar P. Bounds III) Arner-Bounds of Onancock, Va.; her son-in-law, Robert L. Brunner of Audubon, Pa.; four grandchildren, Kimberly (Robert) Smith, Alison (Stanley) Bielinski, Robert (Katie Collins) Brunner Jr. and Zachary (Krystal) Bounds; and seven great-grandchildren, Connor Smith, Dylan Smith, Stanley Bielinski Jr., Isaac Bielinski, Abigail Grace Bielinski, Bennett Bounds and Penelope Bounds.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Arner; one daughter, Karen A. Brunner; and one brother, Robert Huston.

ARNER — Friends of Dorothy L. Arner, who died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022, will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, Saxonburg.

Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home

Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park.
