Nicholas E. Nickleach

A memorial Mass is planned for Nicholas E. Nickleach, 69, of Butler, who died Nov. 21.

Nick had been a service manager at Butler County Ford and a police officer in Albuquerque, N.M., before that.

He was a Vietnam War veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Zavacky Nickleach; two children, Nicholas J. (Dawn) Nickleach and Kristie Eury; a brother, James Nickleach; and two sisters, Linda (Dennis) Likens and Pam Nickleach.

A son, Jonathan Nickleach, preceded him in death Oct. 27 of this year.

<B>NICKLEACH </B>— A memorial Mass for Nicholas E. Nickleach, who died Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Meridian worship site, 125 Buttercup Road, Butler. The Rev. James Murphy, pastor, will officiate.Military honors will be provided by the honor guard of VFW Post 249, Butler, and the American Legion Post 778, Lyndora, will conclude the ceremony.A reception and luncheon will follow at the Meridian Volunteer Fire Department, 121 Sparks Ave., Butler.Arrangements are by <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>.
