Lee F. Graff
Lee F. Graff, 83, of Cabot passed away Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot after an extended illness.
Lee was born on Sept. 25, 1929, in Saxonburg, the son of Edward Graff and Mildred Schroth Graff.
He was a well known farmer his whole life in the Saxonburg-Cabot area. He drove school buses for a few years, and he also worked for eight years at Saxonburg Ceramics.
Lee was a loving dad to his children and a wonderful, loving and caring husband to his wife, Ruth, for 64 wonderful years.
He enjoyed square dancing with his friends. Farming was his main interest. His grandchildren called him Pappy.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Sharp Graff; two sons, David Graff of Cabot and Bill (Beverly) Graff of Saxonburg; a daughter, Debbie (fiance, Mark Smith) Graff of Vandergrift, Pa.; a granddaughter, Echo Graff, who was more like a daughter, and her boyfriend, Brandon Roy, of Saxonburg; six grandchildren, Seth (Tiffany), Michael, Colette, Justin, Robin and Elijah; and three great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Owen and Hayden.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Bonnie; one grandson, Rob; two sisters; and two brothers.
GRAFF — Friends of Lee F. Graff, who passed away Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will follow at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Saturday with the Rev.
