Pearl C. Holbein, 82, of Sarver passed away Wednesday at the Alle-Kiski Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Born March 11, 1929, in Butler, she was the daughter of Julian and Angela Tupaj Czyzyk.

She had worked at Du-Co Ceramics, retiring in 1995.

She was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot, where she had been a Eucharistic minister and a member of the Apostolate Committee and the Christian Mothers.

Surviving are three sons, Robert D. (Kim Mohney) Holbein Jr. of Sarver, J. Kevin Holbein of Freeport and Mark A. (Kimberly Green) Holbein of Freeport; two daughters, Carol A. Carson of Sarver and Mary Ann (Jack) Holbein-Jenny, Ph.D., DPT, of Upper St. Clair; two sisters, Mary Rehm of Butler and Laura (Francis) Gardina of Mount Vernon, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Clayton and Tyler Holbein, Brad (Roseanne) Carson, Alyssa (Bill) Carson Cadamore, Grant Carson, Jack and Dylan Jenny; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Thomas Michael Holbein; and four brothers.

<B>HOLBEIN</B> — Friends of Pearl C. Holbein, who died Wednesday, June 15, 2011, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, Saxonburg. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St Joseph Church with the Rev. Mark Carter officiating.Memorial donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity, 200 E.
