Erma Jean Walsh
Erma Jean Walsh, 81, of Natrona Heights, formerly of Winfield Township, died Thursday at the Highlands Nursing Genesis Healthcare Network in Brackenridge.
Born April 25, 1925, in New Bethlehem, she was the daughter of Frank and Erma Sanford Criswell.
She was employed by the G.C. Murphy's Co. in Natrona Heights and also worked at Du-Co Ceramics in Saxonburg.
She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Natrona Heights and of the P.T. Boaters of World War II.
She enjoyed watching golf on TV and attending P.T. Boat Reunions.
She is survived by a son, George Walsh of Winfield Township; two daughters, Kathleen Hoover of Natrona Heights and Cindy Vrabel of Butler; five grandchildren, a step-granddaughter and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George T. Walsh, who died Dec. 17, 2003; a daughter and three brothers.
<B>WALSH </B>— Friends of Erma Jean Walsh, who died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home</B>, 1552 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights.A blessing service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Aaron Kriss, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Natrona Heights.
