Donna Anne Adams Colpo, 72, of Buffalo Township died at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday at Saxony Health Center.

Born March 31, 1933, in Ford City, she was raised by "Ma" Kamer, her grandmother, and by her mother, Bertha Adams. They ran Kamer's Restaurant in Freeport.

She married her high school sweetheart, Alfonso "Sonny" Colpo Nov. 8, 1952, and they were married for 53 years.

She worked at Du-Co Ceramics in Saxonburg and also at Jack's Restaurant in Buffalo Township. She owned her own beautician practice for years.

She loved family, friends and lived life to the fullest. She was a fabulous cook, loved flowers, reading, crafts and relaxing with her family at the beach.

She is survived by her husband and two sons, Mark (Joanne) Colpo of Buffalo Township and Col. Mike (Vera) Colpo of West Point, N.Y. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Nikki, Renee, Melissa and Jeff Colpo.

COLPO — Friends and family of Donna Anne Adams Colpo, who died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the REDMOND FUNERAL HOME, 524 High St., Freeport.A funeral service will be at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev. William Mumaw of United Presbyterian Church in Freeport officiating.A private burial will be at the convenience of the family.
