Marion E. Woods

Marion E. Woods, 83, of Sarver died Friday at her home.

Born March 30, 1922, in Petrolia, she was the daughter of Fred and Muriel Robbins Humphreys.

She had been a laborer at DuCo Ceramics.

Mrs. Woods was a longtime member of the Zion United Methodist Church in Sarver.

She also belonged to the Butler Writers Guild and was a longtime bowler.

Surviving are her husband, David A. Woods, whom she married Feb. 19, 1945; two sons, David A Woods Jr. of Fernley, Nev.; and Hal D. Woods of Apache Junction, Ariz.; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

A brother and a sister preceded her in death.

WOODS — Friends of Marion E. Woods, who died Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Howard Greenfield officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Airy Cemetery.
