Carrie E. Durst

Carrie E. Durst, 90, of 659 Sarver Road in Buffalo Township died at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday at Outlook Pointe in Saxonburg.

Born in Accident, Md., March 13, 1914, she was the daughter of Josiah and Martha Spicher Durst.

She had been a machinist at DuCo Ceramics in Saxonburg for 20 years.

Mrs. Durst attended Buffalo Presbyterian Church in Buffalo Township and was a member of the Mary Martha Circle of the church.

She is survived by a son, David W. Durst of Jefferson Township; a daughter, Bonita Durst-Myers of Buffalo Township; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was the widow of Andrew W. Durst, who died in 1996. She also was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.

DURST - Friends of Carrie E. Durst, who died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at REDMOND FUNERAL HOME, 524 High St., Freeport. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. David Hupp officiating.
