Bettie M. Sarver Curtin

Bettie M. Sarver Curtin, 98, of Cabot passed away Friday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born Nov. 30, 1919, in Natrona, she was the daughter of the late Ferd and Celia Kuhnert Sarver.

Bettie worked as a credit manager for Englewood Hospital in New Jersey. She was a longtime volunteer for the Lighthouse, a thrift shop for the blind association in New York City. She worked in the accounting department for Montgomery Ward in New Kensington, then for W.T. Grant in New York City.

Bettie was of the Lutheran faith and enjoyed painting.

Surviving are her sisters, Beryl Harrington of Middletown, Va., and Shirley Pavlick of Worthington; and three nephews and two nieces.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Curtin; her brother, Robert Lee Sarver; and one sister, Bernice Sontum.
