James Gregory “Jim” Fabert, 73, of Mars passed away Friday after a prolonged illness.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia “Patty” Fabert.

He was the beloved father of Jamie (Dan) Dougherty of Mars and Greg (Shannon) Fabert of Burlington, Ky.

Jim was a graduate of Ambridge High School and Montana State University. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was honorably discharged. He was a retired warehouse manager at Thomas and Betts, Reznor in Mercer.

<B>FABERT</B> — Friends of James Gregory “Jim” Fabert, who died Friday, May 4, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the <B>Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry</B>, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday at S.S. John and Paul Church, 2586 Wexford Bayne Road, Sewickley. Interment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, 922 Sunflower Road, Rochester.
