Donald R. Dietrich

Donald R. Dietrich, 68, of Saxonburg passed away on Tuesday while in the company of family at Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.

Don was born in Butler Oct. 25, 1948. He was the son of the late Marion Jean (Emery) and Robert Andrew Dietrich.

Don worked as a radiographer for 23 years and retired from Carbo Jet of Pittsburgh. After his retirement from Carbo Jet, he went to work part-time for Providence Pharmacy.

Don was of Presbyterian faith and enjoyed music and loved animals.

Don is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Ann (Furl) Dietrich; a daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Doug Eckert of Coudersport, Pa.; and two sisters, Ellen Kaltenbach and Linda Thompson. He also is survived by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
