Richard L. Miller

Richard L. Miller, 78, of Lebanon, Lebanon County, passed away Tuesday at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.

He was the husband of Toni Edwards Miller and the late Louise A. Eckert Miller.

Born in Pittsburgh, Aug. 21, 1932, he was the son of the late Woodrow and Sue Schanker Miller.

He served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War.

He retired in 1992 from the Pennsylvania Army National Guard as a sergeant first class and had worked as an aircraft mechanic.

He was a member of the Fredericksburg American Legion, the Cape Coral (Fla.) Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Disabled American Veterans and the elite Chosen Few organization.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Crosen of Johnstown; stepdaughters Wendy M. Greene of Columbus, Ohio, Karen, wife of Greg Sattazahn, of Myerstown and Jodi E. Peiffer of Jonestown; stepsons, Brian, husband of Donna Peiffer, of Wyomissing, Mark, husband of Deb Little, of New Holland and Brandon, husband of Melissa Boback, of Johnstown; sisters, Kathleen Shields, Bernadette Carr and Susan Miller, all of Butler; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and very special cousins, Robert Peach and Jim Fessler.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Miller.

<B>MILLER</B> — Funeral services for Richard L. Miller, who died Tuesday, May 10, 2011, will be held May 17 at 10 a.m. at the <B>Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory</B>, Route 72 and Camp Meeting Road, Jonestown. Viewing will be Monday, May 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment with military honors will be at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.Information also is available at www.kreamerlumfh.com.
