John C. Connor Jr., 48, of
Cornell Drive, Butler, died Thursday at 4:27 p.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.Born Oct. 12, 1962, in Holden, Mass., he was the son of John C. Connor and Rose Marie DeLuca Connor.John was an exceptional husband, father, brother and friend.
He was an avid golfer, and he enjoyed a good round of golf with his son. John enjoyed online poker and watching the Rhode Island Web Cam. He spent summers in Rhode Island as a child, and as he grew up he took his own family there each year.He was a sports enthusiast, with his favorite team being the Boston Red Sox.John enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, making memories that will be cherished. He will be greatly missed. John was a general manager for Burger King in the Pittsburgh area.Mr. Connor is survived by his wife, Heather Rice Connor who he married on Sept. 24, 1997; one son, John C. Connor III of Prospect; two sisters, Debbie Brown and her husband, Glenn, of Clermont, Fla., and Merle Smith and her husband, Robert, of Germantown, Md; one brother Ken Connor and his wife, Kate, of Butler; and four nieces and four nephews.
