Agnes S. Cuffman
Agnes S. Cuffman, 82, of Butler died Sunday morning at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born April 26, 1929, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Janesko) Zavacky.
She attended Butler High School and had worked at the former Spaide Shirt Factory and also at the Hoagie Shop, both in Butler.
Agnes loved spending time with her family and working puzzles.
Surviving are her children, Rebecca Cuffman and Kathy Cuffman, both of Butler, Donna (Daryle) Goas of West Sunbury and Robert (Karen) Cuffman and Mary Fleming, all of Butler; six grandchildren, Renee, Amy and Dana Cuffman, Kris (Tammy) Goas, Julie (Rick) Hill and Amanda (Michael) Hawk; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Michael Zavacky of Lyndora; and her beloved pet, Rascal.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Cuffman, who she married in 1951, and who died April 10, 2009; six sisters; and a brother.
CUFFMAN — Friends of Agnes S. Cuffman, who died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011, will be received at
Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Patricia Nelson of the First United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kids Count, 317 W.
