Robert C. Cuffman
Robert C. Cuffman, 77, of Butler died Friday at HealthSouth Harmar Township Rehabilitation Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born Dec. 29, 1931, in Butler, he was the son of the late Gerald and Dorothy (Grenet) Cuffman.
He had worked as a roller in the hot mill for Armco Steel Plant in Butler for 43 years until his retirement in 1993.
He was a member of the Slovak Club in Lyndora, the American Legion #778 in Lyndora, the VFW #249 in Butler, and also was a life member of the South Butler Volunteer Fire Department.
A veteran of the Korean War, he had served with the United States Air Force.
Surviving are his wife, Agnes (Zavacky) Cuffman, whom he married in 1951; a son, Robert (Karen) Cuffman of Butler; four daughters, Rebecca Cuffman and Kathleen Cuffman, both of Butler, Donna (Daryle) Goas of West Sunbury and Mary Fleming of Butler; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; a sister, Eleanor Bower of Butler, and a brother, the Rev. James Cuffman of New Castle.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Cuffman.
