Lois (Dunn) Kuharic
Lois (Dunn) Kuharic, 96, of Butler passed away Monday at the Lowrie House.
She was born June 30, 1919, in Mt. Chestnut, Pa., to the late Everet Dunn and Della (Sarver) Dunn.
Mrs. Kuharic was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church. She volunteered at Butler Memorial Hospital and was a founding member of Tanglewood Center, where she was very active.
She is survived by her son, Norval Kuharic and his wife, Patricia, of Butler; one grandson, Joseph Kuharic and his wife, Jennifer, of Butler; five great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Kuharic, who she married May 9, 1939, and who passed away in 1992; two granddaughters, Deborah Spangler and Deanna Kuharic; two brothers, Eugene and Bruce Dunn; and three sisters, Grace Ward Edna Brandon and Gladys Stephenson.
KUHARIC — Friends of Lois (Dunn) Kuharic, who died Monday, May 8, 2016, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. at Wednesday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev.
