I dont know what the american dream is anymore. I am sure it used to be come to the land of the free, do anything to better yourself. Now it seems if your here the gov will better your life. I think health insurance should be treated the same as unemployment compensation. Sure you and your employer pay in case you lose your job. Then you can qualify for help or assistance for a limited time till you can get back on your feet. If you go past that time you exhuast your coverage. I think people can find something after that point. I dont want to hear there are no jobs. I check classifieds everyday, jobs are there. They might not be what one would desire but it could provide that coverage for you. But then again if gov is going to give it to you, why go and look or even work.
