Jancse, Elser

Michelle and Shane Elser

Michelle Jancse of Portersville and Shane Elser of Prospect were united in marriage July 9 at the Presbyterian Church of Portersville. The Rev. Dana Opp officiated. A reception followed at the Creekview Manor in Slippery Rock.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Sally Jancse of Portersville. Parents of the bridegroom are Bill Elser of Prospect and the late Donna Elser.

The honor attendant was Jill Jancse of Morgantown, W.Va. Bridesmaids included Heather Hensel of Slippery Rock, Colleen Lutsko of Monaca, Brittany Rovan of Johnstown and Kristen Pierce of California, Md.

The flower girls were Haeden Hensel of Slippery Rock and Donna Lynn Rovan of Johnstown.

Performing the duties of best man was Quintin Elser of Prospect. Ushers included Chad Knupp of Mansfield, Ohio, Scott O’Donnell of Portersville, Kurt Speicher of Portersville and Garrett Jones of Parkersburg, W.Va.

The ring bearer was Josiah Lutsko of Monaca.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and a 2011 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene.

She is employed by Dr. David Huber D.M.D in Evans City.

The bridegroom graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 2003 and the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics in 2005.

He is employed by Integrated Deicing Services in Pittsburgh.

Following a honeymoon trip to Jackson Hole/Yellowstone in Wyoming, the couple is making their home in Portersville.
