Dr. Anne E. (DeKleva) Marte, 82, of Valencia, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at her residence.

Born May 21, 1939, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Ann (Garsich) DeKleva.

She was a graduate of Lincoln Chiropractic College in Indianapolis, Ind.

Dr. Anne was a chiropractor and was the owner of Anne E. Marte Chiropractic Office in Butler. She was a member of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Butler.

Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Robert F. Marte of Valencia, John R. Marte of Dayton, Pa., Diana L. Farkosh and her husband, Gerald, of Chandler, Ariz., and Donna E. Banner and her husband, Ralph, of Harrisville; three sisters, Theresa Smith and her husband, Ian, of Butler, Joanne Warner of Pittsburgh, and Dolores Ferguson and her husband, Stephen, of Cambridge Springs, Pa.; one brother, Jay DeKleva of Butler; one granddaughter, Lara Banner; three stepgrandsons, Ralph, Travis and Zachary Banner; and one stepgranddaughter, Carrie Banner.

Dr. Anne was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Adrian C. Marte, who died on May 27, 2004.

MARTE — There will be no public viewing for Dr. Anne E. (DeKleva) Marte, who died Wednesday, March 9, 2022.

Services will be private.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Butler.
