Eleanor Hanlon Egan
Eleanor Hanlon Egan, 84, of Shaler Township died Monday at UPMC Shadyside.
Born June 16, 1924, in Glassmere, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha Anderson Hanlon.
She was the wife of the late Roger W. Egan.
Eleanor lived with her niece, Eleanor Richard Urban, in Evans City for the past five months.
She was the last of 11 siblings, Alice Fraser, Joseph Jr., Edward, Leonard, Earl, Arthur, Lillian Duncan, Jane Ludwik, Bertha Hollibaugh and Kathryn Wilks.
Eleanor was a shoe saleswoman for more than 50 years. She loved traveling, horse racing and bingo.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
