Rebecca L. (Howes) Wirtz
Rebecca L. (Howes) Wirtz, 39, of Middlesex Township passed away in the comfort of her home Sunday surrounded by family and friends.
Born in Ravenna, Ohio on Dec. 3, 1973, she was the daughter of Mark (Stephanie) Howes and Debbie (Robert) Rounce.
Rebecca loved taking care of her beautiful family. Her children, husband, extended family and friends, all held a special place in her heart. Helping others was a lifelong calling, and she always was counted on for counseling friends, offering advice, encouragement, and had an uncanny ability of always knowing the right word to say.
Rebecca was a longtime member of the Glade Run United Presbyterian Church and was active with Nurturing Naturally, a group committed to teaching healthy living.
She was the beloved wife for 14 years of Corey S. Wirtz, who she married on April 17, 1999; loving mother of Braden S., Mason R., and Eden T. Wirtz, all at home; dear sister of Robert Rounce, Carrie Rounce Niklaus, Crystal Rounce Sullivan, Christopher Rounce, Benjamin Howes, Abby Howes Williams, Nate Howes, and Aaron Howes; and beloved granddaughter of Charles and Mary Jane Talkington. She also is survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends.

WIRTZ — The family of Rebecca L. (Howes) Wirtz, who passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013, will welcome friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Schellhaas Funeral Home, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, Route 8 at Heckert Road, Bakerstown. The Rev. Greg Wiest will be officiant.
