Pamela G. Bauman, Saxonburg mayor
Pamela G. Bauman, 67, of Saxonburg passed away Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born April 12, 1948, in Queens, N.Y., she was the daughter of Howard A. Kosel and Gloria Grace Sullivan Kosel.
Pam had been a partner and general manager for the Kenneth E. Bauman Bus Co. She was the former owner of Continental Boarding and Imports and currently was the owner of Mimi's Memories Antiques and Gifts in Saxonburg.
Pam had been a member of the Saxonburg Borough Council before her election to mayor of Saxonburg in 2013. She was very active in the Saxonburg Area, serving on many boards and committees. She enjoyed spending time with her family, crafting and shopping.
Surviving are her husband, Robert N. Bauman, who she married June 15, 1979; three daughters, Jeanne G. (Rob) Voltz of Butler, Jennifer (Jamie) Devore of Saxonburg and Amy York of Butler; two sons, Robert K. (Bobbi Jo) Bauman of Orange Park, Fla., and Christopher (Kristen) Bauman of Saxonburg; her brother, Howard (Rae) Kosel Jr. of North Bellmore, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren, Cory, Aaron, Casey, Hunter, Madelyn, Meredith, Nathan, Evan, Abigail and Veronica; and two great-grandchildren, Lily and Jameson. She also is survived by her beloved dog, Esko.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Theodore John Werner; and one granddaughter, Beatrice Elizabeth Bauman.
BAUMAN — Friends Pamela G. Bauman, who died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg. Funeral services will be private. Interment will follow at the Mt.
