Paul L. Robinson
Paul L. Robinson, 77, of Orchard Manor, Grove City, formerly of Brent and Harrisville, passed away at 12:05 a.m. Monday at Orchard Manor following a brief illness.
Born Sept. 12, 1937, in Brent, Mercer County, he was the son of William Floyd (Flick) Robinson and Dorothy Alice Layton.
He married Audrey Lucille Lucas on July 8, 1969, and she preceded him in death of Sept. 4, 2012.
Mr. Robinson served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1962.
He retired from Cooper Energy Service, Grove City, where he was a core maker in the foundry for many years.
Paul was a Protestant. He was a life member of the Clinton Irwin Rod and Gun Club, Harrisville, and a member of the Boyers Sportsmen's Club. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and antique cars.
Paul is survived by his four children, Cathy A. Robinson of Fairview, Debby D. Rea and her husband, Bruce, of Slippery Rock, James H. Robinson and his wife, Jennifer, of Harrisville and Larry A. Robinson of Huntington, Ind.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; three sisters, Bonnie Jones of New Castle, Dottie Baughman of Volant and Carol Tyler and her husband, Dave, of Austinburg, Ohio; two brothers, Ernie Robinson and his wife, Sandy, of Grove City and John Robinson and his wife, Linda, of Grove City.
He was preceded in death his parents and his wife.
ROBINSON — The family of Paul L. Robinson, who died Monday, July 6, 2015, will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Cunningham Funeral Home, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jeff Jones, pastor of Harmony Evangelical Church, officiating. Interment will take place at the Harmony Cemetery, Harrisville.Memorial contributions may be made to the Boyers Sportsmen's Club, P.O.
