Wilma J. Hays

Wilma J. Hays, 91, formerly of Evans City, died Wednesday afternoon at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born on Sept. 2, 1922, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Samuel J. and Mary F. McConkey Livingston.

Wilma had been a payroll clerk for more than 20 years for Mine Safety Appliance Co. in Callery.

She was a former member of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Evans City.

Surviving are her sister, Carol A. Ikenberg of Butler, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard R. Hays, who she married on Dec. 4, 1945, and who died on Feb. 6, 2006, and by two sisters, Virginia Glaus and Nettie Schaudt.

HAYS — There will be no calling hours for Wilma J. Hays, 91, formerly of Evans City, who died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013. Friends are invited to a committal service in the Chapel of Butler County Memorial Park at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev.
