Linda Kay Thomas

Linda Kay Schmiedlin Thomas, 56, of Washington, Pa., formerly of North Hills, died Sunday.

Born Nov. 8, 1951, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of William Schmiedlin and the late Cecilia Wikert Schmiedlin.

She was a professional truck driver for 33 years, having driven more than 2 million accident-free miles.

She enjoyed golfing and fishing.

Surviving are her father of Butler; two brothers, James (Debra Walsh) Schmiedlin of Bradford Woods and Thomas A. (Roberta M.) Schmiedlin of Leechburg; a sister, Sandra L. (James B.) Hinchman of Lake Wales, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Katie Bernard of Aliquippa; a niece, and two nephews.

Preceding her in death was a brother, William Schmiedlin III.

<B>THOMAS</B> — Friends of Linda Kay Schmiedlin Thomas, who died Sunday. Feb. 10, 2008, will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg, where services will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev.
