Leroy 'Lee' Perry
Leroy "Lee" Perry, 84, of 381 Chicora Road died Sunday morning at Sunnyview Home.
Born July 8, 1922, in Butler County, he was the son of Walter and Carma Cox Perry.
He was a steel cutter at Charles Horewitz Sons. He began working for them at 17, and after Mr. Horewitz died, he became a part owner and worked there until very recently.
Mr. Perry was an Army veteran.
He enjoyed working on small engines, watching baseball and hunting.
He attended the Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Doris Lynn Tishey Perry, whom he married Nov. 5, 1942; three sons, Butch Perry of Butler, Randy Perry of Prospect and Bill Perry of Butler; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a great-grandson, two sisters and six brothers.

North St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Barnhouse, pastor of Slippery Rock Baptist Church, officiating.
