Hazel 'Dottie' Fennell

Hazel "Dottie" Fennell, 84, of Fenelton died Thursday at Meadow Lake Manor in Worthington.

Born April 5, 1925, she was the daughter of the late John and Jennie Marks.

She was a Lutheran, and she enjoyed crocheting and canning.

Fennell also enjoyed attending auto races at the Lernerville Speedway, where she loved operating her son's photography booth, and at other race tracks.

Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Calvin "Buzz" Fennell; her son, Daniel B. Fennell and his wife, Linda, of Sarver; her sister, Marie Swigart of Worthington; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Crawford, Elsie Yockey and Eva Perdos.

<B>FENNELL</B> Friends of Hazel "Dottie" Fennell, who died Thursday, April 9, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at <B>F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home</B> in Worthington. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Nola Eisenbrandt officiating. Interment will follow at Worthington Lutheran Cemetery.Memorial contributions can be made to the Butler Humane Society.Information also is available at www.snydercrissman.com.
