Larry William Heller

Larry William Heller, 69, of Elliott Road, Butler, died at 2:35 p.m. Wednesday in Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Dec. 9, 1941, in Homestead, he was the son of the late Hillard Heller and Gladys Heller Molanaro.

Mr. Heller served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He retired from Glenshaw Glass in April 1998, and he was the owner and operator of the Lube 4 You Oil Change.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, where he participated in serving community meals and bereavement dinners. He also was involved in Meals on Wheels.

Larry and his wife enjoyed traveling. He loved being with his family and got great pleasure in just staying at home and working on his property. He loved being outdoors, and his oil changing business was a labor of love. One of his favorite pastimes was playing poker with friends and family.

Larry is survived by his wife, Linda M. Heller, who he married Sept. 4, 1992; three sons, Lee W. and his wife, Holly, Heller of Renfrew, Jason M. Baldacci of Charlotte, N.C., and Christopher M. and his wife, Jennifer, Baldacci of Butler; two daughters, Lisa M. Heller and her companion, D.J. Simmons, of Butler and Lynette R. Heller of Butler; five grandchildren, Abbie Brown, Logan and Allysa Stefanowicz and Jared and Olivia Heller; two sisters, Connie and her husband, Pat Buzzard, and Cindy Tristani; a number of nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Florence Miller; and his sister-in-law, Carol and her husband, Melvin Almond.

<B>HELLER</B> — Friends of Larry William Heller, who died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, will be received at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler, today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Private family services will be at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. J. David Panther of First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.Information and a private guest book are available at www.thompson-miller.com.
