Woman accused of threatening DA faces new charge
A woman already accused of threatening Butler County District Attorney Richard Goldinger is now facing a new charge.
Brittany M. Hartos’ latest targets, authorities said, were four employees with the county’s Victim Outreach Intervention Center.
Hartos, 26, of Irwin, Westmoreland County, according to court documents, repeatedly communicated “vulgar calls” and “implied threats of violence” toward Linda Strachan, executive director of VOICe, and her three colleagues.
She also threatened to file formal complaints and civil lawsuits against the employees.
Butler police Monday charged her with harassment, a third-degree misdemeanor.
