Anna Mae Fitzpatrick Zanella, 85, of Butler passed away at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday at her home.

She was born in Butler on Aug. 1, 1927, a daughter of the late Merle L. Huselton and Mary J. Guidish Logue.

Anna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She graduated from the former Victory School, a one-room schoolhouse in Oneida Valley.

She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

Anna was a homemaker in the later years of her life. In her younger years, she had numerous jobs including work at the Bantam automobile plant during World War II and at the Butler Egg Auction.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bernard J. Fitzpatrick Sr.; her second husband, Angelo J. Zanella; two infant daughters; four brothers, Merle, Jim, Gary and Freddie; and two sisters, Mary and Sally.

She is survived by four sons, Bernard J. Fitzpatrick Jr. and Ruth Ann Stutz, James Fitzpatrick, Timothy Fitzpatrick and Patrick Fitzpatrick, all of Butler; two daughters, Jacqueline A. Mackalica of Boyers and Mary Margaret Lipscomb and Mike Aiken of Butler; and a stepson, Donald Zanella. She also is survived by 10 grandchildren, Jodi, Bernie, Lisa, Kelly, Matthew, Jason, John, Jessica, Heather and Shane; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

ZANELLA — There will be no public visitation for Anna Mae Fitzpatrick Zanella, who passed away Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012.
