Roselle M. 'Rosy' Poskin

Roselle M. “Rosy” Poskin, 94, formerly of Fawn Township, passed away Saturday at the Chicora Medical Center, Donegal Township, following a six-week stay.

Born on March 30, 1920, in Huntingdon Township, Roselle was a daughter of the late William and Dora (Huston) Hagerman.

Roselle was a homemaker and a member of the Millerstown United Methodist Church, Fawn Township. She lived most of her life in Tarentum, but she spent the past 10 years in Chicora.

Roselle was a former volunteer at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights, and enjoyed arts and crafts.

Survivors include her niece and caregiver, W. Jean and her husband, Louis Wesoloski of Chicora; her sister, Laverne “Honey” Horne of Smithton; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Poskin Sr.; her stepson, Raymond Poskin Jr.; her three sisters, Annabelle Horne, Evelyn Denny and Della Stinebaugh; and her brother, William Hagerman.

Poskin— Visitation for Roselle M. “Rosy” Poskin, who passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014, will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday in theDuster Funeral Home, 347 E. 10th Ave., Tarentum.
