Mary Jane Moeser Thompson, 86, of Hampton Township, Allegheny County, formerly of Ross Township, passed away on Monday.

She was the wife of the late John H.; the mother of William (Lena) of Cranberry Township and Jane (Jeff) Korsvik of Stow, Ohio; grandmother of Lauren and Derek Thompson and Robert and Adam Korsvik; sister of Ernie Moeser, Shirley Denny, Lillian Thomas and the late Louise Stuart and Mark Moeser.

Mary Jane was a longtime nurse for Drs. Steele and Best, who were team doctors to the 1970s Pittsburgh Steelers.

THOMPSON — Friends of Mary Jane Moeser Thompson, who died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Perry Highway, Ross Township, 412-364-4444, where a funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkwood United Presbyterian Church, 4289 Mt. Royal Blvd., Allison Park, PA 15101.
