Margaret Lois Gallagher, 97, of Concordia Lutheran Health and Human Care, Cabot, formerly of Unionville, died peacefully at 4:25 a.m. Tuesday.

Born April 8, 1918, at home in Unionville, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Florence (Brandon) Gallagher.

Margaret was employed as a presser for Hutchinson Cleaners in Butler for more than 40 years.

She was a member of the Unionville Presbyterian Church for 80 years, where she served on many committees and was a member of the Women's Working Guild.

Margaret loved gardening and attended her own garden until she became a resident of Concordia. She loved to sew and made many quilts and Christmas decorations.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Edith Florence Grossman.

GALLAGHER — A graveside service for Margaret Lois Gallagher, who died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016, at Unionville Cemetery will be at 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev.
