Butler County has two winners from pageants Sunday night.

Alexis Allen was crowned Miss Butler County USA during a pageant at St. Barnabas Health System in Gibsonia.

Alexis is the daughter of Fred and Nicole Allen of Slippery Rock. She is a senior at Moniteau High School.

A Cranberry Township woman was named Miss Pennsylvania USA at the pageant at a Pittsburgh International Airport hotel.

Valerie Gatto, 24, bested 52 candidates from across the state to take the crown. She is the daughter of Theresa Gaugler of Cranberry.

She is a graduate of North Hills High School and the University of Pittsburgh.
