Pirates' 2-game win streak ended, 7-4
ANAHEIM — The Pittsburgh Pirates’ brief two-game winning streak ended with a 7-4 road loss to the Anaheim Angels Wednesday night.
The Angels scored three runs in the eighth inning to break open a close game.
Chris Archer struck out 10 in five innings, but allowed four runs in taking the loss. Melky Cabrera had two singles and an RBI for the Pirates.
