Donald J. Schubert, 56, of Evans City passed away Friday in UPMC Montefiore, Pittsburgh.

Born in Butler Dec. 4, 1954, he was the son of the late Donald A. and Shirley A. Constantine Schubert.

He was a Protestant.

He was a self-employed welder.

He was a devoted father and loved the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by one brother.

Surviving are a daughter, Alicia B. Schubert of Evans City; a sister, Judy (David) Tonya of Connoquenessing; two brothers, Richard D. (Paulette) Schubert of Prospect and James B. Schubert of Clarion; his devoted companion, Mary Ann Fleeger Schubert of Evans City; and four nieces and nephews, Brandi Eslick, T.J. and Holly Schubert and Brandon Tonya.
