Pauline V. Rumbaugh, 92, of Hilliards passed away at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday at the Parker Personal Care Home, where she had made her home for the past three years.

She was born Nov. 5, 1918, in Argentine, Washington Township. She was the daughter of the late John Hosick and Caroline Biega Hosick.

She was a member of the St. Alphonsus Parish and a life member of St. Paschal's until its closing.

She received an award for 50-plus years of consecutive voting.

She loved her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by four sons, Howard R. Rumbaugh of Harwick, Robert R. Rumbaugh of Hilliards, David C. Rumbaugh and his wife, Kathy, of Hilliards and Patrick L. Rumbaugh and his wife, Cathy, of West Sunbury; and six grandchildren, Tiffany Rumbaugh, Ashley (Andy) Gapinski, Patrick Rumbaugh, Ryan Rumbaugh, David Rumbaugh and Jessica Peters. Also surviving are one brother, Anthony Hosick of Medina, Ohio; and many of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Keith “Pete” Rumbaugh; one son, Timothy Rumbaugh; eight sisters; and four brothers.

<B>RUMBAUGH </B>— Friends of Pauline V. Rumbaugh, who died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, will be received at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church in West Sunbury with Father James Bedillion officiating. Burial will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the St. Alphonsus Parish.
