3:48 p.m. Thursday — Police said Carrie Roxbury, 19, of Prospect was driving on Route 356 when her vehicle rear-ended the vehicle of James Walker, 46, of Butler. Walker’s vehicle was pushed into the car of Miriam Kemper, 25, of Butler.
Walker complained of minor pain but refused medical transport. The other two drivers said they were not hurt.
Roxbury’s vehicle was towed. She was charged with speeding.
7:09 a.m. Thursday — John Wiley, 50, of Wampum and Chester Wylie, 62, of Saxonburg, were involved in a two-vehicle accident. No injuries were reported. Police said John Wiley was traveling too closely to the rear of Chester Wylie’s vehicle at a stop light and ran into the rear of the vehicle. Police said John Wiley received a traffic citation.

March 30 — A township man is accused of causing a ruckus outside an apartment last month.
Nicholas Werner, 21, was charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief and public drunkenness from an incident on the night of March 10.
Werner allegedly was intoxicated and causing a disturbance outside an apartment on Chelsey Court.
He allegedly caused $2,410 in damage to a door and exterior lights. Once caught by police, he admitted to having multiple alcoholic drinks that night, police said.
5:21 p.m. April 2 — Francine A. Schoen, 47, of Pittsburgh was charged with misdemeanor retail theft after allegedly attempting to steal from Wal Mart on Route 19.
She allegedly went through the self-checkout aisle without paying for $171 worth of merchandise and was stopped by store security.
She was placed in Butler County Prison on $2,000 bail.
April 6 — Jordan K. Browning, 24, of Harmony was charged with DUI from a traffic stop March 27. He was also charged with speeding and disregarding traffic lanes.
April 6 — Derron J. Englert, 30, of Pittsburgh was charged with misdemeanor retail theft after allegedly stealing from Wal-Mart on Route 19.
Englert on Jan. 14 allegedly walked out of the store with $347 worth of merchandise.
Police identified both Englert and his truck by using surveillance camera footage from the store.
The merchandise was not recovered by police.
April 6 — Alisha M. Aaron, 41, of Cranberry Township was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of a drug paraphernalia from an incident on March 29.
April 7 — Mark Persic, 30, of Allison Park was charged with DUI after a traffic stop Jan. 30.
April 7 — Kelsey N. Lees, of Harmony was charged with DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia from a traffic stop Jan. 29.
[naviga:h3]Grove City Police[/naviga:h3]
Thursday — Derrick J. Hetrick, 20, of Grove City was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding following a traffic stop on Greenwood Drive in Hunter Farm Park.
7:05 p.m. Tuesday — Damitri Seelbaugh, 25, of Grove City, was arrested for alleged possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Police found the items while he was being arrested for a warrant in another incident in front of 633 W. Main St., Grove City. Charges are pending court action.
April 2 — An accident occurred involving a 2002 Ford Ranger driven by a 17-year-old female and a 2005 Nissan Sentra driven by 21-year-old Katie Socash of New Castle.
The accident happened at the intersection of West Main Street and Highland Avenue. Both vehicles suffered moderate damage.
[naviga:h3]State Police, Butler[/naviga:h3]
Thursday, 5:42 p.m. — Ronald H. Erb, 56, of Portersville was involved in a crash and charged with driving under the influence. He lost control of his vehicle and went off the west berm and into an embankment and into wooded area. He was not injured.
Thursday — 10:39 a.m. An oversize truck carrying Volvo off-road dump truck pulled down a telephone wire at Route 228 and Sandy Hill Road. The truck continued west and the driver pulled off another telephone wire near Old Route 8. Anyone with information should call the state police in Butler at 724- 284-8100.
Thursday — Matthew L. Ealy, 29, of Parker, was charged with making a false written statement for the sale or transfer of firearms, as well as unsworn falsification to authorities.
Ealy allegedly attempted to buy a firearm at the former Dick’s Sporting Goods in Clearview Mall, He had two bench warrants out on him from June 2010, but did not list that on the application.
Wednesday-Thursday — Nuttall Golf Carts of Sodus, N.Y., reported that a license plate was stolen from one of its vehicles. The vehicle was driving in Bedford and Butler counties, but police do not know where the license, NY registration 72267KA, was stolen.
5:38 a.m. March 20 — David Lee Weichey, 33, of Butler, was charged with driving under the influence. He was driving on New Castle Road near Moraine Pointe Plaza in Butler Township.

6:44 a.m. Thursday — A 16-year-old boy, was driving a Jeep Wrangler east on Route 208 in Pulaski Township when it left the road and struck a tree. The boy, who was wearing his seat belt, had minor injuries. The Jeep sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
