Butler County man killed in Warren County ATV crash early Sunday

WARREN, Pa. (AP) — A Slippery Rock man was killed early Sunday morning in northwestern Pennsylvania after an ATV he was riding on as a passenger hit a deer.

State police say 52-year-old Scott Hart was a passenger of an all-terrain vehicle operated by 54-year-old Frank Gariepy, of Tidioute.

The men were riding the ATV when the crash happened at about 7:20 a.m. Sunday in Triumph Township in southwestern Warren County.

Police say the ATV was heading west on Campbell Hill Road when it hit the deer, left the roadway and rolled over multiple times in a field. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
