Head-on crash injures 2 adults and a child

Three people were involved in the accident, including two adults and a child, fire officials said.

The 200 block of Dinnerbell Road is closed after a head-on collision between two vehicles.

Three people were involved in the accident, including two adults and a child, fire officials said. The accident occurred at 3:51 p.m. Friday, according to 911 dispatch.

The two adults involved in the accident were flown to trauma centers in Pittsburgh according to Saxonburg Fire Chief Chris Ballina. The westbound vehicle driver, a woman, appeared to have more severe injuries, he said.

The child was a passenger in the westbound vehicle and was taken to Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh by ambulance, the chief said.

Security footage captured by a neighbor's porch camera shows the car driven by the man swerving across the center line and colliding head-on with the other vehicle.

No other information was immediately available.
