Lindsey Lee Dickey

Lindsey Lee Dickey, 22, of Richland Township, Gibsonia, died Wednesday morning of injuries received in an auto accident in Butler.

Born March 30, 1993, in San Diego, Calif., she was the daughter of Paul G. Dickey and Shelli Catterall Dickey.

Lindsey graduated from Pine-Richland High School and was an international business major at the University of Tampa.

A born-again Christian, Lindsey had volunteered at orphanages in South Africa and Peru. She loved children and it was her plan to return to South Africa. She also loved dogs and helped with pet rescues.

Surviving are her father, Paul Glenn Dickey and her mother, Shelli Catterall Dickey, both of Gibsonia; two brothers, Joshua Glenn Dickey of Lawrenceville and Jeromy Clinton Dickey of Gibsonia; her maternal grandparents, Richard and Debbie Augustine Kenney of Valencia; and her paternal grandmother, Mary Ellen Borland of Mars; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, David Dickey.

DICKEY — Friends of Lindsey Lee Dickey, who died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.
