She graduated from Seneca Valley High School in 1975 and from Geneva College in 1977 as a medical secretary. She graduated with honors from Butler County Community College in 1989 in nursing. Lynette worked at the Ellwood City Hospital emergency room for many years and retired as a nursing supervisor in 2018. She was a mentor to many at the hospital and in life.
Lynette was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Evans City and the Bethlehem Chapter 37 OES. She was also active in the Zelienople Area Business Association. Following her love of travel, she bought Complete Travel Service in Zelienople in 2015 and was the owner and operator. She enjoyed traveling the world with many of her friends and family. She loved attending community events and talking to people about travel. She was involved in the Evans City Octoberfest and participated in the Relay for Life. She touched many lives and tried to make everyone special. She is well-loved by all who knew her.
Lynette is survived by her wife, Susan Mick; her mother, Lucille Wingard; her sister, Luann (Perry) Brosius; and her aunt and cousins.
